64 Series

Type 64SR has a built-in internal relief valve, eliminating the extra expense of installing a separate relief valve in the downstream piping. When reduced pressure rises above the set point, the diaphragm lifts off the internal relief valve seat. Excess pressure can then flow into the spring case and bleed to atmosphere through the screened vent opening, thus helping to minimize the overpressure condition.

Typical applications include crop dryers and tobacco curers. If gas can be trapped or ignited between the regulator and the burner, a vent line should be installed from the 64SR's vent to a safe location.
