Lay Flat Hose Assemblies, Oroflex

Oroflex® Layflat Assemblies from Kuriyama are a rugged layflat hose assembly fitted with Bauer-Style male x female aluminum fittings (Sphere Lock™ brand from Kuriyama). This is an extremely robust layflat hose that can withstand some of the tougher applications where a standard layflat hose will not hold up. Oroflex® provides superior abrasion-resistance, UV-resistance, and improved oil-resistance compared to standard PVC.

Additionally, the Oroflex® Layflat hose assemblies boast crimped ends, which help avoid snags and other potential safety concerns that can arise with clamped or banded hose ends. These assemblies are intended for discharge applications only.

General applications include dewatering, pump discharge, industrial washdown, agriculture, cable covering, drainage, floatation booms, irrigation, limited oil/chemical applications, and watering.

Construction: Black PVC/Nitrile hose that uses an extrusion process which provides a circular woven high-tenacity polyester reinforcement.

Temperature Rating: -22°F to 176°F.
